Finally after 28 years of trying I broke 3:30. Last 4 marathons have been not started or not finished so very pleased to finally finish and break 3:30
Goals for race 1. Finish - tick 2. Run negative split - tick (even made last mile the fastest 3. Beat PB of 3:32:34 - tick 4. Finally break 3:30 - tick
A nice fairly low-key marathon. Used it as a training run. My 17th marathon but first without wearing a watch. Interesting to run on feel. It didn't make it any easier but pleased with pacing.
