In short:
Flat and windy, but well organised and friendly small event. Good to finally get the 3:30 monkey off my back and hit a 12 min pb.

In full:
Just ran it one mile at a time, accompanied by Martin's evening at the Science Museum, followed by Tom on the Free Weekly Timed podcast. Going sub 3.30 means I've beaten my Dad's PB, so bragging rights are passed on down the family.

Super happy with a big PB on a flat and fast course (apart from the wind). Couldn't have done it without the excellent pacing and teamwork with a couple of clubmates.

In short:
Great event, well organised. Touch windy in places. Really pleased to get a PB of over 14 mins despite leaving part of my left elbow, hip and knee on the Boston Roads around mile 8. Got in a good group till around half way then myself and Abi (3rd lady - well done) split from the group till around the last mile or so were she was just to strong for me. Hope the rest of the group finished well.

Really good event course very flat as advertised. Marshals very friendly and really encouraged the runners despite been stood out in the wind for a long time. Special mention to the water station all dressed as santa and playing Christmas songs around 11 miles (i think). Will definitely be doing this again next year

In short:
Pleased to follow in the footsteps of the legend that is Yuki by taking the win at the Boston Marathon, ok his was in Massachussetts and mine was Lincolnshire but let's not worry about that. Quickest marathon in quite a while and the 2nd of 12 this year to raise money for Mind.
