In short: Ran the best I could on the day...
In full: Perfect conditions meant we went out hard on a flat first half, the first 10k in around 38mins and hit the half marathon about 1.22. Hilly 2nd half was always going to be a slow down, and ran a 1.28. Pleasing result and good to get back into sub 3 territory after last running a 3.00.27 about 5 weeks ago. I may need to target a 2.45 marathon next year!!!

In short: Excellent weather, great company ran conservatively, plan to pace this event avg5:14 min/km, achieved, YES!! 2 min -ve split had great fun.
In full: Another great day out. I ran this event conservatively as my A race is the Melbourne Marathon in October. Ran and chatted with others all along the course in my capacity as unofficial 3 hour 45 minute pacer. Ran a 2 minute negative split. The hills didn't seem that big! Despite starting 10 minutes late for the marathon runners it was a well organised event.

In short: Great run, PB and $6000 prize money for 7th overall and first Australian finisher. Thank you very much !
In full: Race of my life, racing with my 2 running buddies we eventually finished 7th,8th and 11th; compared to 18th/19th and 20th last year. All improved on last years time and I managed first Australian for a surprising $6000 prize. My running mate Rhys got second Aussi and $3000 as he finished a few minutes behind me. W
